Bamboo Bookshelves

Another project for a New York apartment. The client wanted minimalist built in bookshelves, but also wanted to be able to disassemble and flat pack the shelves when they would have to move apartments in the future.

I designed and fabricated steel square tube vertical elements that lightly anchor to the wall, and bamboo plywood shelves with recessed pockets to receive the steel brackets. The shelving system was designed to fit within a specific wall niche, but will adapt to any future location with it's elegant design, and minimal installation requirements.
