As the Fabrication Shop Manager, I led a number of office renovation projects for the department where we would work with student workers to design and fabricate furniture and millwork for faculty and staff offices. This provided the opportunity for student workers to gain valuable skills and experience with our digital and analog fabrication facilities, and to highlight the talent of the students, while also paying them for their labor.
